The Red Men won their fourth CCIW in a row with 956 points, followed by Wheaton in second at 858.50. It was a come-from-behind win for the team and marked the fifth team title for the Redmen. It is also looking like at least one relay will get picked up for the NCAA meet
Carthage's Ryan Ortmann (Jr., Woodstock, Ill.) won both the 50 freestyle (21.08) and the 100 freestyle (46.13). Kyle Drake (Sr., Aurora, Ill./Waubonsie Valley) won the 200 backstroke (1:50.35), while finishing second in both the 400 individual medley (4:07.86) and the 500 freestyle. Doug Schranck (Jr., Alton, Ill./Marquette Catholic) won the 200 butterfly (1:54.01), while finishing third in both the 100 butterfly (51.16) and the 200 individual medley (1:57.74). Adam Van Huis (Jr., Winneconne, Wis.) won the 200 breaststroke (2:08.35).
