Today's entry is for Sandy Drake who a) wanted me to make sure we got a photo of Kyle and brother KC together at nationals, and b) wanted KC to remind Kyle to get a shirt. Well, I think this year's shirts look ugly, but that's not my department. This photo completes my part of the equation. Kyle fulfilled his part by making it back tonight in the 200 back - unbelievably splitting a 54.90 in his first 100. No negative split this time, though I think he can win the consol heat tonight.

Same for Stephen. Unfortunately he was a bit off of last year - something you can ill afford at this meet. He goes in tonight as the top seed in the consolation heat where he'll face - KC Drake.

Bryce didn't make it back, though he looked good in warm-ups. He's had a hell of a season so today's swim leaves a somewhat bitter taste. There's little question that he would have benefitted from having his free relay mates here with him. That won't be an issue next year.

OK, they're knocking at my door. Time to head back for finals.
