WHAT A MORNING. This was easily our best session of swimming in, well, in a long while. I really don't know where to begin but how about by the numbers:
- 3 - That's what Stephen Schranck is ranked in the 100 breaststroke after this morning's lifetime best (and meet-record) 56.95.
- 1:41.94 - New school-record 200-free relay split, nearly a second better than Stephen's previous record
- 5th - Doug Schranck's national ranking in the 200 butterfly.
- 56 - Season-best times - out of 60 swims this morning.
- 22 - Lifetime bests this morning.
- 3 - NCAA Cuts earned by the Schranck brothers
- 59.84 - That's the time of our 6th fastest 100 breaststroker. His name? ANDY BAX. (He's ranked 18th in the nation)
- 1:04.09 - Andy Bax's previous best
- 1 - Number of times Isaac Rothenbaum's been under 49.0 in his 100 free - 48.97 this morning (squeaking in 19th)
- 1,200 - number of calories of the McDonalds lunch I had - roughly matching the number of calories consumed watching this morning's session.
