Last chance meet today. We're at Purdue and I've got a funny feeling, namely I feel good. We've got 16 swimmers. It's a team high and they've looked far better than ever going into a last chance meet. They've been loose and quick and most importantly...they know they can go faster.

Last night they got a chance to see some fast swimming when we we went and saw the last night of the Big 10 championships. There was some fast swimming though several guys would have been competitive in the bonus heats. After the 400 free relay they were ready to leave, but we stuck around a few minutes because I had another funny feeling. A couple minutes later and my suspicions were confirmed when it was announced that Dan Ross, Purdue head coach and Eric's dad, was named Big Ten coach-of-the-year for the third time. It was pretty cool that Eric could see that. Even better, his brother broke his HS record in the 100 fly earlier in the day at the Indiana State HS Meet.

Let's keep things rolling today...
