This is a swimming blog, but this week we've got football on the mind (and no, not because two of our sprinters used to play for the Red Men.) No, tonight is the first of a couple of big games this weekend - Brett Farve vs. the Green Bay Packers. Blake, Ben and Tyler hail from the Gopher state while Dan Jones is a Packer Backer. The majority of the team will be pulling for . . . Da Bears. On Thursday its Nebraska looking to erase last year's embarrassment at the hands of Mizzou. Everyone knows my Husker loyalties, and Mitchell is a Tiger fan. It is of course, illegal for NCAA athletes and coaches to wager on sports, but I know one thing - someone will be bringing the team donuts on Friday morning.
