"Go West Young Man, Go West." Horace Greeley's quote could be used to
describe the advice heeded by a pair of our past graduate assistants,
the latest being Guy Gniotzynski who has accepted a position as
Assistant Swimming Coach for Willamette University and Senior Coach at
Bearcat Aquatic Club. He follows the path blazed by previous GA Jade
Sobek who went out west and helped the Billings Aquatic Club to a
couple of state titles before leading the Bozeman Barracudas.

Guy went out and blew away the search committee. According the head
coach Leslie Shevlin "Our AD loved him, our head coach loved him, and
my biggest concern was that we were too much alike." That's a lot of
love, but never fear - Guy's longtime girlfriend Ann will be joining
him as he heads West. On behalf of everyone here at Carthage we want
to wish him well and are excited for him. We're also kind of proud of
the fact that every one of our previous graduate assistants has gone
onto a great position. In addition to Guy and Jade, Dani Korman is
helping lead Johns Hopkins to new levels of success and Justin
Jennings is head coach out at Coe College

So who will be the next GUY? Details soon.
