A common comment from recruits who visit for the first time is, "wow, you guys really are on the lake." Because the lake warms up and cools off slower than land, it means that campus is always a little warmer in the winter and a little cooler in the summer than just a few miles inland. With no A/C and temps rising to about 98 yesterday, I decided to take the dog out for a swim. I'm sure it will still be this warm when the biathalon comes around.
