Eleven years ago Carthage began a string of construction that started with the new Koenitzer Aquatic Center. With its construction we moved out of the Seidemann Natatorium. Now Seidemann has become the new student center. It's impressive, very, very impressive, but not quite as awe-inspiring as the power displayed by 80 mph winds that hit campus last week. They took down parts of four of the six big maples out on Sheridan Road. The winds also uprooted the big tree in front of Johnson Hall, thus affording Johnson residents a view of the new Student Center.

Oh and those football bleachers - six rows - about 30 steps each and a great new dryland area for us.
